Teaching Philosophy: I have a love for the disciplines of both history and theology. I have always used the Socratic method of teaching and feel that I am called to challenge and stretch the students in my class. I hope to transmit to my students a model of Christian and monastic life that will be of service to them for many years to come. One of the great satisfactions I have found over the years has been encountering former students who have returned and told me how valuable and formative they found my classes as they entered college and graduate school.
