We are brothers
in Christ, brought together by the Divine Call, sharing our lives and
seeking God under the guidance of the Holy Rule of Saint Benedict and the
inspiration of the Gospels. Our prayer, both personal and liturgical, is
the most important aspect in our monastic life. In the works of the
monastery the gifts of each monk are cherished and are placed at the
service of the community and the Church. We appreciate and reverence the
material goods of our monastery as vessels of the altar and we witness to
our poverty through the simplicity of our lives. We strive to see Christ in
everyone, especially in our brothers and in our guests.
