funds for the financial assistance program. Parents must submit the Parents'
Financial Statement to the school and Student Service for Financial Aid
in Princeton, New Jersey. Using the data provided by the school and Student
Service, the Academy meets needs until funds are exhausted. Financial assistance decisions are made only after a student has been accepted to Marmion. In 2007-2008, nearly one-fourth of Marmion students were awarded more than $408,694 in need-based grants and merit scholarships. Merit Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen on the basis of character and scholastic potential as determined by the competitive HSPT entrance examination taken by prospective 8th grade students on December 1, 2007 at 9:00 am. There will be three alumni legacy scholarships awarded this year: • Rev. Sebastian Crow, OSB Memorial Alumni Association Scholarship (These scholarship are awarded based on a students performance on the Scholarship Qualifying Entrance Exam held on December 1, 2007. The recipient must be the son, brother, grandson or nephew of a Marmion Alumnus.) |

| Application Timetable Marmion welcomes inquiries and accepts applications at any time. Appointments for tours can be arranged through the Office of Admissions. Starting at the end of January, students are notified of their acceptance. Enrollment takes place only at the beginning of the school year or the second semester. Candidates for fall enrollment are encouraged to apply as early as possible. A nonrefundable fee of $50 must accompany the application. Download a Marmion Application. |
