Teaching philosophy: I believe that formal education in the United States should prepare students to be highly functioning adults in society. The students should have ample opportunity to practice critical thinking skills, practice problem solving skills, work cooperatively and communicate clearly. I hope to provide these opportunities while helping my students gain essential mathematical knowledge and experience the beauty of mathematics. Bergeron is the mother of a 2003 Marmion graduate.
