    Consecrated Life Day

    On February 2, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, fifteen - twenty men and women from communities in the are joined the Marmion monastic community for Eucharist followed by a luncheon in the Abbey Refectory.  It was to honor and celebrate the Year of Consecrated Life in the Church.  Abbot John expressed the hope that this could become a regular event with the monks and religious of the area.

    1928-2015

    Father Christian Pusateri, O.S.B. age 86 died peacefully in the Lord early in the morning of Thursday, January 1, 2015. He is survived by members of his monastic community, his sister-in-law, Eve Pusateri, 9 nephews and nieces and 27 grand nephews and nieces.

  • The daily time for Vigils is now at 5:45 am and 6:45 am for Lauds.  Saturday Vigils will continue to be at 6:30 pm and Sunday Lauds at 7:30 am.   

    Listen carefully, my son, to the master's instructions, and attend to them with the ear of your heart. This is advice from a father who loves you; welcome it, and faithfully put it into practice.  This message of mine is for you, then, if you are ready to give up your own will, once and for all, and armed with the strong and noble weapons of obedience to do battle for the true King, Christ the Lord.
