Tree Types Available at Marmion

Austrian Pine - pinus nigra - densely pyramidal when young, becoming a large, broad, flat-topped tree. A good specimen for screen, mass planting or windbreak. Withstands city conditions. 50’ - 60’ height.

White Pine - pinus strobus - a symmetrical pyramid of soft, pleasant appearance in youth, chancing with age to a graceful plume-like crown of many horizontal and ascending branches. 50’ - 60’ height.

Scotch (Scots) Pine - pinus sylvestris - irregular pyramid with spreading branches. Useful as distorted specimen. 30’-60’ height.

Spruce - White, Norway and Blue. Picea. Conical shape; short stiff needles; slower growing. 30’ - 50’ height.
