Grow your family's tradition at Abbey Farms by investing in your very own Apple Tree in the newly established Abbey Farms Apple Orchard! Visit the Orchard yearly & watch your family tradition grow!

Trees start at $275 (fully tax deductible) and if you are buying as a gift in honor or memory of someone, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a certificate to present to the recipient.

Founders Grove planted 2020 – but you can still help us plant the rest of the orchard!

Below you will find information on the timeline for the orchard, your special sponsor access to the orchard and more.

Apple Orchard Time Line:

The 2018 scheduled planting of the Abbey Farms Apple Orchard was delayed and planted in 2020. If all goes as planned, we will be hosting our Grand Opening in 2024 – fully dependent on the trees progress! Here are a few specifics:

  • Exclusive invitation to Grand Opening/ First Picking in 2024 – (details to come)
  • Commemorative plaque that will be on display for the life of the tree (approx. 20 years)

Picking Privileges:

  • Each tree sponsor is entitled to picking rights off their tree with a complimentary ½ peck of apples included with each visit for the first 5 years. Additional apples will be available for sale at market value.
  • Admission-free access to the Apple Orchard for the first 5 years for the sponsor’s immediate family (up to 6 people).
  • After early sponsor picking, your tree will be opened up to the public for seasonal picking to help create memories for many more families!

Environmental Facts:

  • Each apple tree will absorb CO2 and produce about 260 pounds of oxygen a year, about enough for two people for 365 days!
  • Your apple tree is a great source of pollination for our local bee population
  • Your apple tree helps absorb runoff water thus preserving topsoil and erosion!
  • Your tree will help produce local food for you and your family and many in the surrounding community!
